Pilot Type 20
We offer a variety timepieces. In the year of 1865 in the town of Le Locle, a visionary watchmaker and the founder of Zenith Manufacture, Georges Favre-Jacot had an obsession: to create the most precise and reliable watches of his time. To achieve this, he revolutionized the way watches were made and brought all the watchmaking trades under a single roof. By the early 20th century, Zenith watches had already been sent out from Le Locle around the world and Zenith’s destiny was sealed forever; that of chronometric performance and pioneering spirit.

In 1899, Zenith presented its first chronograph movement. In 1969, man set foot on the moon for the first time, and Zenith was the first watchmaker to produce a high frequency automatic chronograph, the mythical El Primero.

The Zenith manufacture has been awarded 2,333 chronometry prizes in its century and a half of existence; a world record for pocket watches, instrument panel clocks and wristwatches.

With its capacity to conceive new ideas, then pursue them – before anyone else – with new technical developments, makes Zenith so fascinating.

Representing a rare phenomenon in the watch industry, the Manufacture is currently still located in the exact spot where the founder built his first workshop and continues manufacturing the most precise and beautifully exclusive mechanical timepieces.
